A Good Day’s Work

Finally getting in a good day’s transcription, but then, I have to! I’ll be out all day tomorrow, so I’ll only be able to transcribe at night. That’s certainly not the worst thing; my favorite doctors dictate later in the day, so I have a better shot at them right now. Later in the week as the queue builds up that will change, but for now, this is my time!

Made It Through Easter

Ahh, I survived Easter in one piece. It was quite a weekend. Egg hunting at my mom’s, but my daughter didn’t quite get it yet. We saw a 3-foot long king snake on the patio, which I think was pretty interesting. Mom lives right on a canyon, so we get critters here and there, but that’s the biggest snake we’ve ever had. I do like having king snakes around; they eat rattlesnakes and other critters that I don’t like having around, and they aren’t poisonous.

Got my newsletter all set for tomorrow. It’s DH’s birthday, so there’s no way I would have been able to get it done tomorrow. So nice having that out of the way.

Now, back to transcription. I’m still way, way behind since the weekend was so tiring, and I’m determined to get at least a semi-decent number of lines by the end of the pay period.

Good Day

It’s a GOOD day. Just about have my customer’s website done, just need to hear from a few link exchanges and maybe submit her to a few more search engines, and one of my AdWords finally produced a sale! It’s about time! It feels so good to know I am making progress in that area. Still have a lot of tweaking to do on my latest campaign, as it’s rarely getting clicked. In fact, I’m pausing it until I have time to fix it, because I don’t want to get slowed again.

Went to the doctor’s yesterday, all the tests came out negative, which is a relief, but I’d love to know why I was feeling so sick for the past week and a half. Now I just have to watch for worsening symptoms. Fortunately, they seem to be vanishing, so I guess it was just a virus.

Gaah! Still need to get tons of transcription done!

Website Progress

Making good progress on my customer’s website. It’ll be up and running soon. She’s amazed at how little time it’s taking me, but it really isn’t that difficult a task she’s asking. Sometimes that’s just how it goes.

Gaah! Now I need to get some transcription done before I head out to the doctor’s.

Promoting DentalPlans

Started a new AdWords campaign for DentalPlans.com. I’m only in it lightly right now, because DentalPlans.com is ALL OVER AdWords, so I really don’t know if it will be worth it, but I’ve heard others claim it is so I’m giving it a chance. I have plenty of keywords on it, so we’ll see.
