Ariel’s off now for a day of fun with her cousin up near Disneyland. My grandparents are in town, so my mom is taking all of them to visit my cousin. Her daughter is just three days older than Ariel, believe it or not, so they’re a good match. Too bad they live an hour and a half away.

On the plus side, I get some transcription time while my husband is at work, and we’re probably going to go see a movie or take other advantage of the time alone. Nothing like a little date when you’re parents.
