What a day.

We had folks over to look at the new kitchen countertops, so Ariel had a lot of fun with her cousins. This of course means no nap. She’s sitting eating dinner right now (corn), and was so tired that as she cried for me to finish cooking it, she fell asleep in her chair for a moment. Very cute, but at the first noise she was awake and crying. Going to be an early bedtime today.

Have to check for transcription after that, but if it’s not there I’ll be able to get more work done on the jewelry website. I was able to get some things done this morning as well as yesterday, so it should be ready for launch soon. Then comes all the work of getting it into directories and so forth. I enjoy that well enough, really, knowing it gets people to the site, but it can get tedious. I generally use http://www.selfpromotion.com to get started, since it has a good number of directories. Then I’ll have to start pay-per-click campaigns and really get some traffic moving before I’m really being found in the search engines, which might not come until after Christmas - not good for a jewelry store.
