Going to be one of those days…

Ariel’s with her grandparents today so I can get lots of transcription done… so naturally the queue’s empty at the moment. It’s 3 days before the end of the pay period, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. Website design time, yay!

The apartment we’re considering in Ramona is looking like a really good option for moving out. Ramona’s a pretty good drive to everywhere, but my sister would be next door, and her two daughters are less than a year from Ariel’s age on each side, so there’d be playmates. Her husband is home 4 days a week, so they’d be around a lot.

Ariel had so much fun with those girls yesterday. The look on her face when they left was simply tragic. She just stared out the screen door for several minutes looking very sad. That really helped Brent with the motivation to look harder at the apartment… that and I got real numbers for cost of electricity (it’s HOT in Ramona during the summer, cooler than here in winter, mountain town) and what it really costs to commute down the hill to a job. Still works out to a savings over apartments closer. My sister’s brother-in-law is moving out of that apartment later this year, so it’ll be coming available when we need it.
