Call it a blinding flash of the obvious.

I’m always looking for more ways for my affiliate sites to earn money. Now, my jewelry website is quite new, and hasn’t made a sale yet. Then again, it barely has traffic since it’s still making its way into the search engines.

Now, this probably won’t earn me much money, but it was certainly worth a try. I’ve added a Buying Fine Jewelry on eBay page. Nice and simple, telling people what to look out for. Nothing terribly revolutionary, but with any luck it will get me an eBay commission or so. And if I feel like I might be losing too many sales later on down the road, I can always remove it.

Google has finally started getting serious about indexing that site. All last month, Slurp was creaming Googlebot in terms of how much was indexed. So far this month, Slurp’s been leaving me alone and Googlebot has been having a blast. Nice to see you, Google. My unique content is finally being indexed, rather than just the store, which, as a datafeed, is not all that unique.

Now, I don’t think an eBay page will work for my credit card applications website or my satellite television website, so I won’t do the same there… although maybe… hmm… DVD players? Home theater systems? I may have to rethink that one.

I did use Wordtracker to come up with some new keywords for my linking campaign for the satellite television website. I put those into the Ad Co-Op, so maybe I’ll see some good results in a few weeks. Some of my keywords on other sites have taken big jumps, so I am very pleased with the Co-op. The satellite site won’t have a lot of pages for a long time, probably, so for the most part it’s going to have to ride my larger sites to get serious Co-op links.

Ok, enough playing. Ariel is actually taking a nap today (she has a little cold), so I’d better get transcribing. There should be plenty of work there today.
