Well, I can finally make a post again.
The move went terribly, and we’re doing it again next week. Yes, that bad, especially since I’m 6-1/2 months pregnant and really didn’t enjoy the first move. 99% of the problems are simply related to the fact that the previous tenants did not complain nearly enough about problems, I would say. However Archstone, the company we’re renting from, has not lived up to their guarantees. It took them close to a week to get to most of the problems we pointed out, they were painting in the apartment the day we moved in, what appeared to be a rather large touchup job, considering we had been told it would take a half hour, and an hour and a half later I was told they had an hour to go.
Probably the worst problem for me personally has been that the microwave takes too much power for the circuit it is on. If nothing else is on, it causes the lights to flicker. But if the computer is on, there is a chance the circuit will go, and I have to go flip the switch. Not too good for the computer, even though it is on a good surge suppressor. There are other issues too, but that’s enough complaining for now.
I’ve spent a bit of time working on getting my jewelry website ready for Valentine’s Day and started some fresh content for my home business website. That content has not been posted yet, because I wrote most of it with no internet access, so I have a bit of research to do to finish most of the articles, but I got about 11 new articles started.
