Busy, busy, busy.

I’ve been working on a new section for my jewelry website. I found the script I need, and I’ve spent the past couple days doing what I can to get it live. I still have some tweaks to do, but I’ve learned a bit more about MySQL in the process.

And, just to keep things interesting, I got the software to start doing medical transcription over my cable connection. Finally picked up my foot pedal too. So now I have even more work to keep me going.

Add all this to the fact that this baby is due in six weeks or thereabouts, and I’m keeping pretty busy. I have to, since I know I will have a lot less time after than I do right now. But I’m having a lot of fun learning more about website management in terms of PHP and MySQL. I hope to eventually have enough time to learn PHP programming, as knowing how to make your own scripts is a huge advantage.

I have so much I want to get done before this baby comes. Articles to write, so I can keep my newsletter going, pages to add to websites to help our income, so maybe I won’t have to go back to transcription, or at least not for more than a few months, new websites I’d love to launch, if I only had time to create them. Yes, this stuff is addicting for me.

We won’t even mention getting the hand-me-down baby clothes sorted or any of the other setup we still have to do before the baby is born. And no, he doesn’t have a name yet either!
