The Ultrasound

The ultrasound came out fine.

I figured it probably would. After all, this baby is plenty active. About the only negative thing the tech came up with was that the baby is still breech. The OB thought he had turned already. This explains why my ribs don’t hurt, but baby really needs to turn! I do NOT want a C-section if I can avoid one.

I am so glad to be able to get to focus on business things again - well aside from doing some research on ways to encourage the baby to turn. I’ll have to call my employer on Monday and get on their case again about getting me that foot pedal so I can get some medical transcription done before I go on maternity leave. I stopped worrying about that once I heard there might be a problem, because I could have been put on bed rest or even sent to have the baby right then, so it just seemed pointless to try to get a foot pedal I would then not need for several weeks.

How Long to Wait

Quick update - why do they always call right after you tell people something?

The doctor’s office finally called me back. I had called to see if two weeks was really what they had wanted the radiologist’s office to do. Took them a long time to get back to me because they had to call the radiologist to reschedule me. Now I go in on Saturday. Looks like they definitely didn’t mean for me to wait THAT long. I am so glad I called now.

Waiting, Waiting

I hate waiting!

Had an OB appointment today, and was told I was measuring small… 31 weeks instead of the 35 it should be. So I have to go back again next week and get an ultrasound the following week. Waiting so long for the ultrasound is NOT going to be fun. After all, by the time I have it, I’ll be 37 weeks pregnant, that is to say technically full term. Wondering if there is a problem this late is very hard. OK, so it would be hard at any stage.

AwStats Hole

Wow, that hole in AwStats has given the phpBB developers a lot of trouble.

Not with phpBB itself, but with getting their new server. Delivery troubles have kept them offline, and may continue to do so until Friday. Right when I had a question, too.

I sympathize. Remember that foot pedal I was supposed to be getting yesterday? Didn’t come. I’m waiting to find out what happened. The person who was going to send it is out sick, so they’re having to check for me.

Getting Back to Transcription

I should be getting my transcription foot pedal today!

Mixed feelings about this, though. I’ve loved the time I’ve had off to work on websites, but it really is time to get back to transcription. Business is good, but until I know it’s going to stay this good I need the safety net. Besides, in a month or so I’ll be taking maternity leave, which should give me time to assess my results.

I’m trying out a new program, which you can see as a link off to the side. It’s called The Instant Guru Blog. In my initial scans, the blog looks like it provides some pretty good tips. I’ll be watching this one carefully to see how things go and if it’s worth my time.
