Not all the sites have the changes made yet. This one does... the site, not the blog, as I had placed the ads here before reading AdSense Secrets.

The jewelry site is mine, the credit card site and the home business site are all mine. Those still aren't all my sites, they're just what are listed here. I've focused on this website, however, as it gets by far the most traffic.

Over time I'll be deciding how best to place my ads in the other sites. Sites which have something for sale are more difficult, because I have to decide how to improve the CTR without hurting sales too much.

I can tell you that since I started making the links look more like my own content (and actually in my content and not off to the side) my income shot through the roof. Congrats on the increase and I hope it keeps up for you!

Relevancy can be a problem with some topics, I would imagine. You get your best results if your topics are fairly consistent.

For example, I often post on my medical transcription job, so there are often ads for that here. However, that isn't relevant for every post.

You'll typically get ads for whatever you were posting about when the AdSense bot visited your blog. If your topic changes after that, the ads may not change until the bot visits again.

Blogs are definitely tricky for AdSense. I get my best results on my website, where I have the most control over where AdSense appears and the content stays consistent on each page.

Keep us posted OK? I have ad Sense on my blog and some of the stuff they put on there is just ridiculous. ALTHOUGH, since I run a Catholic, religious blog, when they put on stuff related to the papacy last week, I did get more clicks. Why they discontinued that this week, I don't understand.
