At least, I hope they’re settled. At Gage’s preop appointment yesterday, I was told we do finally have the referral through the right company, so everything ought to be fine now. Only took a lot of effort on my part because the doctor’s office kept going back to the old insurance. But finding out who was responsible for getting the referrals really helped. But having problems run up to about a week before the surgery was rather unnerving.
I’ll probably be gone from here for at least 2-3 days. I’m allowed to stay in Gage’s room, and being the food source, obviously I will. He may only need to stay for one night, which is nice. I’ll have to leave Ariel to Brent, just as we did when Gage was born.
I’ve been doing some work on improving the work at home section. I’ve added several companies, and I’m working on job descriptions, so that people know a bit more about what is expected for these jobs. Obviously, I could easily explain what a medical transcriptionist does, but other jobs are requiring research on my part. I think I’ll move the job listings to the same page as the job descriptions, just to keep them all together and make it easier to figure out what categories I have listed.
