I’m very excited. I won’t reveal the date here, since I don’t want to tell people when I’ll be away from home, but it is such a relief to have it scheduled. We have so much to get done – pre-op appointments, his baptism… thank goodness Ariel’s birthday (today!) was celebrated this weekend.

Ariel’s birthday party was great. Kind of funny, but all her local cousins are girls, so we didn’t have to worry about party favors that boys would like. Next year, with Gage being old enough to know better, it will matter more. It was exhausting, however, as one of my cousins has a daughter who is just 3 days older than Ariel, so we both had parties this weekend and attended both. Let me tell you, it’s not easy coping with so many parties on one weekend. Toddlers will wear you out!
