After an entire weekend of internet connection troubles, I finally called the cable company. I’m still not clear on what exactly was wrong, but they finally tried renewing the IP and now I’ve kept a connection for longer than I have in several days. Hopefully that means it’s fixed.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to run an online business without an internet connection? That’s right – it’s essentially impossible. All you can do is get pages ready – can’t load them, test them fully. It’s quite a headache to have to deal with, especially when you’re getting ready to move.
Just over a week until that happens. We’re moving on the 13th and 14th from the condo to the house we’ll be renting. I can hardly wait to be done with it. More room for my office, 3 bedrooms instead of 2, and a back yard instead of a patio for Ariel to play in. Should be very nice, even if the rent’s a bit higher than I’d prefer to be paying.
