Guess I’m not on a very popular street here. We didn’t get all that many trick or treaters. That’s not to say there weren’t any in the area… just that they didn’t come down my street.

It’s not too surprising in a way that a lot of the local kids don’t come down our street. It’s the one in the neighborhood that a lot of the homes don’t really decorate or make it look like they’d welcome trick or treaters. Compare that to many of the other streets surrounding up with all kinds of decorations, and you can see where ours gets looked over.

Ariel and Gage looked cute as you can see. Gage only lasted about one block. With the time change he still gets tired pretty early. Ariel lasted right up to what appears to have been the end of trick or treating for the night. Hard to be certain on so quiet a street, of course, but she made it pretty close to 8:00, which has always been about the end time so far as I can see.

It was a good day, though. I had Ariel draw on paper the face she wanted carved on her pumpkin. She was so delighted to have one carved just the way she wanted it. I carved one for Gage too, of course, but he’s too young to draw what he wants so I did it my own way.
