I made some good progress on my Christmas shopping last night… stayed out so late my husband called to see where I was. Hadn’t realized it was 11 already, oops!

My sister and I went shopping together. We had some shopping to do for our mom and she drew my name in the name drawing this year, so she wanted to know what to buy. And we just kept going and going….

I still need to buy for my husband. I know what I want to get him but I haven’t bought it yet. Need to find a bit of fun stuff for him too, since my main idea is more or less serious.

The kids are, as always, way too easy to buy for. It’s harder to figure out what NOT to get them than what to buy for them. That’s just how it is with young kids who are excited by just about everything you give them.

Had a funny incident in the store last night. My younger sister and I both have long hair, all the way down our backs. We were at Walmart when an employee comes up and starts telling us how much we look like Breck girls and asking how we get our hair so long. Talked to us about it for a good 10-15 minutes on the topic. She was shocked that we don’t use fancy salon shampoo or conditioner.

It was exhausting, but it sure was some productive Christmas shopping. I’m glad to be done with another big chunk of it.
