No, that’s not a typo. I think that’s about how my daughter feels, though. It’s pouring rain today, quite the change from last week, and she’s just a little sick.

She’s also just devastated. She loves to play in the rain and I won’t let her today.

It’s an annoying little bug. Basically Ariel has no appetite. She just tried telling me she didn’t want to eat more than a little lunch. As soon as I told her to just eat what she was comfortable with, she said that afterward she’d like some candy. So we know she’s not all THAT sick. And no, she’s not getting candy at all today. Her stomach needs time to recover.

Today’s just a really lazy day for the kids. Ariel’s preschool gets the entire week off for the Presidential holiday. Not quite sure what to call it. Most schools just do President’s Day or do both Lincoln’s and Washington’s birthdays. In this school district the kids get an entire week.

I have the blinds open so the kids can watch the rain, and a child’s stepstool so Gage can see out. He loves to watch the rain or anything going on outside.
