Yes, it has been one of those days. Not too far off typical, really. Gage is just your standard 2 year old who really wants Mommy’s attention. Sometimes it amazes me that I can get anything done while he’s awake. No doubt that’s why I’m typing this now that he’s taking his nap.
- Finished his breakfast. Wanted more.
- Wanted a drink.
- Wanted a banana.
- Wanted his favorite movie on.
- Disagreement with older sister.
- Diaper change.
- Wanted to go play outside - but ONLY with Mommy.
- Help turning on a toy.
- Diaper change.
- Lunch.
- Wanted shoes on.
- Tripped and fell.
- Wanted a snack.
This has been one of the fastest Thursday Thirteen’s I’ve ever written. I haven’t even typed everything he did.
Of course, it’s fun being here for all that, even if it is exhausting.

Don’t you wish you had half that much energy? My boys are 8 and 10 and they run me ragged!
I really remember those days. Thankfully, they do outgrow them (though I don’t think sibiling arguments ever go away!)
Btw, terrific website. I spent a lot of time going through it. I’m an author but like to do freelance article writing on the side now that my boys are in elementary school. I’ll be coming back to explore your site further.
