And take your mind out of the sewer!

I’m typing today on my husband’s computer because mine is back in the shop. Came home from dropping the kids with their grandparents to a dead computer. Nothing happens when I hit the power button. No change when I switch outlets.

Do you know how glad I am right now that we paid for the service contract on that machine???

This is, of course, sheer torture because I only have some of my stuff backed up onto my husband’s computer. Worse, I had just done a bunch of work on Sunday, and hadn’t uploaded it anywhere, so if it’s a hard drive problem, that stuff may be gone. I’m really, really hoping for a power supply issue. Any problem not involving the hard drive and having to try for data retrieval.

This is driving me nuts because the days when the kids are with their grandparents are my best working days by far. So today I have a good work day, but I’m handicapped in what I can get done. I can still do a little, thank goodness! Just nowhere near what I had originally planned.
