I’ve always found the challenge to these things is sticking to products I might actually read in a reasonable period of time. It’s easy to just subscribe to a bunch of junk newsletters and never read a bit of it. It’s harder to pick and choose and decide who you want to give a chance to.

I always give each newsletter a short time to decide if it’s worth it to me or not. If they do little more than promote the latest thing, I am quick to unsubscribe. If they give information, but it’s not interesting or usable, unsubscribe. You get the idea. I generally unsubscribe from all but a few after a few issues. Maybe I’m picky.
