Just having fun dreaming before Mother’s Day. If you could hire someone to help you with something around the house or with parenting duties, would you and what for?
On the parenting side of things, nope, wouldn’t hire anyone. I have too much fun with my kids and lots of family support, including local, retired grandparents. Those times I need help, it’s there.
I’ll admit some parts of parenting are tedious. I’m hoping to get my son potty trained one of these days, but if he’s like his sister, I’ve got about a year yet on that one. He’s pretty stubborn and not really showing interest just yet in that particular area.
Then there’s housekeeping. No problem at all with the idea of hiring someone to help with that, mostly general cleaning and laundry. Not the cooking. I do enjoy that part.
So what about you?

I agree with hiring someone for housekeeping. Spending time with the kids is more fun than cleaning all day.
On the parenting and cooking, it’s clear that we wouldn’t want to miss a moment with our family. I think it’s every parennsibility.
For moms who don’t have time to clean and cook, i think help is needed. But on parenting, I think it’s not a good idea to have someone help on that area.
