Sometimes it just happens. Mommy gets tired. You can guess why I chose this for my Thursday Thirteen.

I only hope I have the energy to finish.

  1. Get caffeine! I’m not a big caffeine user as a rule. Never developed a taste for coffee and I rarely keep soda in the house. But there are days…
  2. Take a nap. I managed a light snooze while my son watched Sesame Street as he sat on my lap.
  3. Get away from the computer and do sometime active. Yeah, right. I don’t do this one very often, but it does work most times.
  4. Go to bed earlier. Another one I’m terrible at.
  5. Know when you’re most productive and take advantage of it.
  6. Spread activities out.
  7. Cut back. Do you really have to do it all?
  8. Make the kids help.
  9. Encourage the kids to do independent projects. Any time you don’t have to heavily supervise, you can relax a little.
  10. The crockpot is your friend!
  11. So is a warm bath. Just don’t fall asleep in the water.
  12. Find out if the kids can go play with friends.
  13. Ask husband for back rub. Great way to fall asleep… if he lets you.

I did it. I survived writing this list without falling aslee…zzzzzzz
