No, it’s not that the fire is getting that close. It’s air quality. The air is flat out unhealthy in our area.

My dear husband was complaining about it being hot in the house tonight, so he opened a few windows. After a few minutes of far too much smoke smell, I told him the right solution was to close the windows and use the air conditioning. We’re much more comfortable now, even if we can smell the smoke still.

Who knows what morning, or even the middle of the night will bring. They’ve ordered the entire town of Ramona evacuated, and we’re down a few hills from there.
