I have my ex-stepmother with me now, as she did get hit by mandatory evacuations, as has my only local sister. We are potentially in danger, but it would be some hours from now, probably not until tomorrow if things turn toward us. We've packed clothes for a few days, pictures and before we go to bed we're disconnecting the computers and putting them with everything else by the door so that if we get the order we can be out in minutes. If you walk about 3-4 blocks from my house you hit backcountry, so it's quite possible.

I can smell it too, and the area I’m in is advised to pay attention to the news.
