My problem is that I make more work for myself. What I mean is that when my 6 yr old gets home from school, she changes into play clothes so that her nice/school clothes don't get ruined with a stain. This works 90% of the time, only because she is bound to get something on her clothes at school eventually, but by the time she gets home sometimes the stain has already set in.

LOL! I'm having to finish the load up in the bathtub. Washing my son's sheets, blankets, and pillow, of course. It had to break on one of the more difficult loads to cope with by hand.

So of course today the washing machine broke. I only have two (my toddler is in the same soak-the-bed stage, but all the laundry is handwashed here! In order to maintain my sanity, I have hired a woman to do it for me . . . it only costs about $5 a week, so it is well worth it!

I know how you feel.
