It’s that time again. Set the clocks back one hour tonight and decide if it’s time to change the smoke alarm batteries again. Might be a good time to get a carbon monoxide detector if you don’t have one of those yet, too. eMoms has a story that should motivate you if you’ve been procrastinating on that one.
Practical things like that aside, messing with time changes just seems like a waste of time. My husband agrees, probably somewhat more firmly than I’ll state things.
Since the clocks go backward, the one positive I can think of is that it might be a little bit easier for my daughter to get up on school mornings. But I still dread the adaptation time, since this also means she’s likely to be up bright and much too early tomorrow morning.

I don’t mind it so much in the fall when I get an extra hour. It’s losing the hour and “jet lagging” for a day or two in the spring I hate.
Spring is definitely worse, although dealing with my son thinking it’s time to get up at 6 in the morning isn’t much fun either.
