Now, this is one of the more difficult categories to get savings on, as many go for close to the value of the certificate after shipping, but it is possible to get some great deals. Going on vacation? There are gift certificates for hotels. How about a night out? Find a gift certificate for your favorite restaurant.

Now, you do have to watch out for any terms or conditions on the gift certificates. Especially watch for expiration dates, as you want to be sure you can use your certificate before it expires.
