Educational Toys and Games for Kids

Playing games is fun, and it can be educational too. From simply learning to share to games that teach math, grammar or just about any school subject, playing games can be a fun way to help your child learn.

Life is about learning. But learning doesn't have to be dull.

There are some great games available that teach arithmetic, for example. You may dread math from suffering through all too many boring math teachers, or you may have a love of it because you found out how interesting math can be.

Which way do you want your children to think of math?

That's just one way in which educational games can help. Take away the tedium and learning becomes much more interesting, and the challenges become part of the fun.

Educational games are available for all ages, from preschool on up.

What games do I like for my children?

Well, my son is just an infant, too young for games. But my daughter is three and just learning to play a few games. She loves the Jumpstart computer games. She plays around with Chutes and Ladders, but doesn't really know how to play it as a game yet. She mostly makes the board into a tent for the characters.
