It's a mystery to many of us how the television works, what makes a light turn on or how any of the everyday electronics we use actually work. But that doesn't mean you can't help your kids learn how they work.
Basic electronics kits are easy to find and lots of fun for the curious child. Obviously, they require adult supervision, but who says you won't have fun too?
Take Snap Circuits Junior, for example. It can be used to build more than 100 projects, such as a doorbell or an AM radio.
