Who doesn't love a good movie? It's a great way to relax as a family. New movies and old movies and TV shows are available on DVD for you to enjoy.
Over the Hedge (Widescreen Edition) - This movie was fun! One of those that all ages can enjoy, and the computer animation was great.
Schoolhouse Rock! (Special 30th Anniversary Edition) - I love this one. My daughter loves it more. If you grew up in the 70s or 80s, you probably saw most of these, and might even be able to sing the songs now. They're just that memorable. Education in a fun package.
Leap Frog - Letter Factory - This one had my daughter reciting her ABCs at 2 years of age. She absolutely adores this movie still.
Spirited Away - This is a great movie. A little scary for younger kids, but my niece fell in love with this one when she was about 8 years old. The animation is superb. Some of the details of the story can be a little confusing even for adults, however, when you aren't familiar with Japanese culture.
The Little Mermaid (Two-Disc Special Edition) - No, my daughter wasn't named for this particular Ariel, she was names for the one in Shakespeare's The Tempest. However, once she got over her outrage over the mermaid having her name, she loved this movie.
Animaniacs, Vol. 1 - If you every watched Animaniacs, how can you resist? My daughter loves these guys, and yes, this one is hidden away with the other Christmas presents! I've been waiting years for this set to start coming out.
The Backyardigans: Cave Party (DVD) - Preschoolers love The Backyardigans. Let them have a little fun with a good movie.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Two-Disc Deluxe Edition) - Viewers loved or hated this movie. I loved the story when I read it as a kid. This is a great gift for those who saw and enjoyed the movie already.
The Muppet Show - Season One (Special Edition) - Remember watching the Muppet Show? This classic series is now on DVD, and kids still love it.
The Cheetah Girls 2 (Cheetah-Licious Edition) - I keep hearing great things about the Cheetah Girls. My daughter is too young to really get into them yet, but they're pretty popular right now.
The Wizard of Oz (Two-Disc Special Edition) - How can I skip one of my daughter's favorite movies just now? She loves this one so much she was Dorothy for Halloween.
The X-Men Trilogy (X-Men/ X2: X-Men United/ X-Men: The Last Stand) - A great trilogy for fans of the comics. Not everyone enjoyed the third movie, but the first two are generally considered great!
Harry Potter - Years 1-3 Collection (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone/Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets/Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) (6-Disc DVD Set) (Widescreen Edition) - A great set to give a Harry Potter fan.
