Now, I'll admit with some people there's a certain risk in giving kitchen-related items for Christmas, so be certain that such a gift will be welcome. The right gift will be seen as truly thoughtful and considerate of the recipient's interests. The wrong one is probably about as welcome as cleaning supplies.
Serious cooks, however, often welcome new and interesting tools to use.
