Give the gift that keeps on giving... headaches, at least until the kids can play them better. But musical instruments have great benefits for children to learn to play, and too many schools just don't offer much in the line of music lessons anymore.
Kids love musical instruments, especially if they can just play around with them, but as they get older it's nice to have something they can make real music with.
I couldn't resist add this section. My 3 year old daughter insists that she wants a guitar, and her 9 month old brother needs a drum. I think I'm in trouble in a few years....
