Kid Pix Deluxe 4 - Art software even fairly young children can learn to use. While it's not the same as drawing with a real crayon, pen, paintbrush, etc., the effects are quite good.
Dora the Explorer: Fairytale Adventures - Aack! Don't let my daughter see this one, she wouldn't give me any peace until I bought it for her if I let her see it. Dora is a huge favorite, and she knows the story to this one from the TV show.
Mia's Math Adventure: Just In Time - Looks like lots of fun for kids. Games to encourage their growing math skills.
Blue's Clues Preschool Learning System 2007 - Blue's Clues is very popular with preschoolers, and the games should be lots of fun.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 - If you work on graphics (such as photographs) just for fun, this tool will probably be plenty powerful enough for you. It's not as powerful as the full version of Photoshop, but then it doesn't have the full price tag either! Trust me, you'll never miss what isn't there, which is more than most people need in graphics software.
Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Win/Mac - I use Dreamweaver and I love it! If you create websites, this is THE software to use.
Microsoft FrontPage 2003 - If you don't want to pay the price for Dreamweaver, this is a fair alternative. Code isn't as clean, which means sites load a bit more slowly, but a lot of people may not notice the difference.
Macromedia Flash Pro 8 Win/Mac - This is one powerful tool for creating Flash movies and videos.
