Building Toys and Blocks

Every child loves to build. Whether they use simple wooden blocks, Legos or Capsela, building lets a child use their imagination and learn what works and what does not.

Which toys are best depend on the age and interests of your children. Very young children are quite happy with plain wooden blocks, then steadily get interested in toys that can build more and more complex items.

Some kids even get interested in electronics or rockets. You can encourage your child's imagination to soar with building toys.

While many sets now have a particular item they are planned to build, and even include instructions, I love to see what else kids can make, or even just buy generic sets that have no particular goal in mind. It's amazing to see what can be made with the different kinds of building toys.

There are so many great toys out there beyond the usual blocks. Take a look at what these stores have to offer.
