Dress Up

Playing dress up is lots of fun for kids. It lets them pretend to be someone else - a doctor, princess, super hero... even mommy or daddy!

It doesn't take much for a child to play dress up. You don't necessarily need to buy anything for them. A towel becomes a cape. Your shirts become costumes. Hats make great additions to costumes too.

Of course, a few accessories certainly don't hurt. A stethoscope is fun for dress up and educational. Real stethoscopes don't cost that much. I believe the one we bought for our daughter at a local store was about $12. A purse is great for little girls. Play tool belts, sunglasses or other accessories work well. An actual costume or two is fun as well.
