Home with the Kids Halloween Costume Contest

The idea came up on the forum and I've decided to run with it! I am sponsoring a costume contest this year.

Rules are pretty simple. Post a picture of your child in his or her Halloween costume in the costume contest thread. You can enter from now until Sunday, November 5, 2006. Voting dates may depend a little on how many entries are received. If there are too many entries then I reserve the right to first ask for nominations and then hold voting on the 10 most nominated entries. Have to keep this sane, after all. I plan on giving each phase of the voting one week.

In other words, if I only get a few entries, voting will be from November 6-12, 2006, but if there are a lot of entries that will be the nomination phase, and final voting will take place November 13-19, 2006.

Entries must be posted on the forum; no emailed entries. All voting and/or nominations will also take place on the forum. I'm going to keep this open to U.S. residents if only because I don't know how hard it is to get prizes to other countries, especially if I do get sponsors.

First prize gets a $25 Amazon gift certificate from me.

Anyone who cares to donate a prize is welcome to. Please use the contact form if you are interested in being a sponsor. If you do sponsor I will include a link to your site on this page along with what you are providing. Sponsors will receive the winner's information from me and are then responsible to provide whatever they promised. If there are enough sponsors I will consider adding a second or even third place prize.
