The Stay at Home Lifestyle

Being a stay at home parent is a way of life, whether you work at home or are "only" a stay at home parent. There are issues you have to deal with that parents working outside the home do not face in the same way you do. There's a greater need to plan social time with other adults, for example, since you may not see anyone other than your children and your spouse most days otherwise.

Of course, the benefits are tremendous. You're there for your family. You get to see all those milestones you might have had to miss. For most, the benefits far outweigh the financial and personal stresses.

Time Management
Everyone thinks you have all day, that you can freely sit around and watch television, but every stay at home parent knows that their days are full. Learning to manage your time well is a tremendous advantage.
