February 22 issue ready
Getting closer and closer to my due date. It hardly seems real at times.
I do not expect any problems for the newsletter, but I am in the process of changing hosts. As the nameservers propagate, there may be some interruptions on the discussion boards and such. Hopefully I will be able to keep these to a minimum, and things should be back to normal by Thursday.
Well, unless I go into labor or something and a problem occurs... ;)
This week's feature article is on what to do when you just cannot distract the kids. There will be times in every parent's life when you need to get something done and the kids just won't cooperate.
The guest article is somewhat related to the article's I've been doing on online safety. The FireFox browser has become quite popular, and you might appreciate some of it's extensions, as well as the security.

See you next week... I think! I'll probably be saying that for the next few weeks, as I do not expect this baby much before, if at all, before his due date of March 17. My daughter was 9 days late.

February 15 issue ready
How was your Valentine's Day? Mine was quiet - we needed the rest after a very busy, nervewracking weekend. I had to have an ultrasound to make sure the baby was ok. He's fine, although still breech.
The feature article will give you tips on shopping in consignment stores. We recently bought a couch at one for a great discount, and it's beautiful. But there are many more things you can buy from consignment stores.
The guest article is a reminder that it's tax time. For many of you, doing your own taxes will be a good idea with the software that is available these days to keep you accurate.

Valentine's Day is coming! I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
This week's feature article is on having a romantic evening without breaking the budget. It's hard for parents to get away, and harder yet if money is tight. But there are affordable and romantic things you can do.
The guest article is about keeping your kids active. Hopefully your children aren't spending too much time in sedentary activities, but there are things you can do to encourage them to be active - and yourself as well!

Frebruary 1 issue ready
January is gone already. How the time flies, especially when you're pregnant. I guess I should be glad it's not mid-summer, when time probably drags by due to the heat.
The feature article this week is more or less the second part of last week's. What else do you need to do to protect your computer?
The guest article focuses on disciplining rather than punishing your children. They're similar in concept, but the differences can be huge.
