Saving money and working with your kids

The Editor's Desk - From Beneath the Clutter

It's been a long couple of days. Gage and Ariel are both sick. Not a lot of symptoms; Gage's fever hit 101, so I'll be calling the doctor, but I haven't checked Ariel's. Being creative and getting started

The Editor's Desk - From Beneath the Clutter

How busy can I be? I spent a good bit of time this weekend helping my brother-in-law get his first website up. He still has a lot of content to add to the site, but it's a start. (read more)

She was excited and animated while talking about this experience, and explained how she wanted to be there everyday during lunch to paint. That she could just live in that store and paint all day. I understand that passion and loved seeing it in her. (read more)

Housecleaning for fitness and car maintenance

The Editor's Desk - From Beneath the Clutter

It's been quite a week for so many people. I've been watching the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina with a sense of shock. I'm utterly dismayed at the complete chaos that ruled for so long there before help began arriving in earnest. So far as I can tell, there were failures at every level of government for the people of New Orleans. (read more)
