It's true. With Halloween past the rest of the holiday season is sneaking up really, really fast. I'm trying not to think about it too much, but we all know it's happening.
I'm hearing a lot from my kids about what they want. They're typical of their ages; that is, if I buy more or less the whole toy store they'll be happy. Then again, they'll also be happy with just a few things, or at least happy enough. The "I wants" pretty much just come from seeing too many commercials.

A Parenting Tip - Teaching Thankfulness
For those of us parenting in the United States, this is the time of year we celebrate Thanksgiving. As a mother, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it gives me the opportunity to purposely teach about gratitude. I'll give you an honest parenting tip here; developing an attitude of gratitude in your children is one of the most amazing things you can do. Here's why.
