Silver Jewelry Club Review

Oh, the torture! I saw a link for Silver Jewelry Club's free offer and decided to take them up on it.

I watched the site for quite a while, running it in one browser window while working in another. They change products at least every 5 minutes, with 4 products up at a time, so any given product may be available for as long as 20 minutes, less if it sells out.

They offer a variety of sterling silver jewelry with either semi precious stones or CZ set in them. After watching for a time, I selected a garnet pendant and went to the purchase page. There I had the option of buying a chain for it as well for an additional $3. Shipping is $5.99, not cheap, but they have to make their money somewhere, and it's still less than I'd pay for a similar item locally.

I decided to buy both pendant and chain, as I was in need of a 16" silver necklace anyhow. The process went quite smoothly, and Silver Jewelry Club accepts either credit cards or PayPal.

The pendant arrived quite promptly; I ordered on a Tuesday and recieved my pendant and necklace that Saturday.

I am pleased with the quality. I spent six years working in a jewelry store, so I know what to look for. The prongs appear well made, the garnet is of reasonable quality. I'm not a jewelry photographer, so the picture really does not do it justice; jewelry is very hard to photograph well. It matches the description given quite well. The chain is also of good quality.

If you love silver jewelry, this is a pretty nice place to get some cheaply. Probably the hardest part is deciding what to get, since you only have a short time to view and there's no guarantee that a particular piece will become available again if you wait. I saw a lot of lovely pieces while I thought about what I wanted.

Have a little fun and take a look at what they have to offer. It's jewelry suitable for gifts or to keep for yourself.
