Working at home as a blogger can be lots of fun. There are a few ways to earn money blogging, from paid posts on your own blog to revenue sharing or regular pay for blogging on someone else's site.

Do note that this is more a home business than a job, so you will have to cope with the tax issues, and there's no guarantee that topics available will fit in with your blog. A genera topic board is easier than a more focused one, but you have to stick with what you are comfortable working on, as you have to get the blog established first and then continue to create your own posts as well. I do advise keeping things honest and having fun with it all.

Paid posting on your own blogs

PayPerPost
I do this one on some of my blogs. Your blog must meet certain requirements, such as being at least 90 days old with at least 20 posts. You choose the opportunities and write them up to meet the specifications. Some opportunities, for example, only want positive reviews, in which case you need to decide if it is something you WANT to give a positive review to. Other reviews allow you to say what you think, whether it's positive or negative. This is the one I personally have earned the most from so far. Pay varies from $4-20 in general with a few exceptions.
Personal Experience - The one I personally have earned the most from. Prompt payments 30 days after you make the post, may or may not pay over the weekend, but then you just get the full payment Monday. The disadvantage was a hit from Google on PageRank when they decided to punish paid blogging.

Blogitive
Blog about news releases. You must average 3 posts per week, have been blogging for at least 3 months, you must get some traffic and be indexed in Google and Yahoo. You generally earn about $5 per post.

Blogsvertise
It is recommended that your blog be at least 30 days old before you get started, although younger blogs may get reduced rates while in Probation status. Then again, they could just be rejected. Starting pay is $5-10 per post; you may ask for an increase after proving yourself. Pay attention to the rules and the FAQ.
Personal Experience - They email you with possible assignments, you complete or decline. Reached my first payday and was promptly paid. Lots of irrelevant offerings but some are good.

ReviewMe
This one tries to tackle many of the problems people felt PayPerPost had, partially by saying that advertisers cannot request a strictly positive review. Pay is also higher, but so far work is extremely scarce. Blogs are approved or rejected immediately, and your pay rate is set by certain factors they check, starting at $20 per post. They require that you reveal the post is sponsored. Advertisers choose you, and you decide whether or not to accept, so you don't waste time looking for opportunities.
Personal Experience - Pay is good if they accept you but few to no assignments for every blogger I've talked to. Payment is prompt.

Social Spark
Connects bloggers and advertisers. They've taken care of some of the disadvantages of paid posting by requiring "nofollow" attributes and requiring disclosure. They have some big name bloggers signed up as well as small sites.
