Technical Support Work at Home Jobs

Tech support can be a very demanding job, but it does offer the advantage that it can often be done from home. Equipment needs are very similar to other customer service jobs, but you must have good technical knowledge in the area you provide support.

Note: I do not know which companies are hiring at this time. This is merely a list of companies that at the time I visited them hired employees to work at home. I am not responsible for any changes to the sites, company policies or job offerings. Don't tell me you want to apply for one of these jobs; I'm not the one hiring. Websites may change ownership at any time, so do your due diligence to be certain that you're applying with a legitimate company no matter where you see it listed.

Please pay attention to all job requirements. It's a waste of time to apply for jobs that you aren't remotely qualified for.

Arise
You choose the level of tech support you can offer: Help Desk, Level 2, trouble shooting or high tech sales. This is one of the more expensive companies to work for, as there is the background check fee, requires incorporation, a dedicated phone line and you have to pay for training. I would call it in many ways more a business opportunity than a work at home job, but it's pretty good if you want to do tech support.

Momentum Network
Hires online support technicians and other positions.

MySQL (SUN Microsystems)
Hires support and IT people from around the world.

Support Freaks
Register with their site to offer technical support, design and similar work. You'll be posting on their "Freebies" board to build relationships that may lead to work. Not so much a work at home job as a way to get your business name out there.

More Sites for Job Seekers

Here are some more sites where you can look for work. Please note that I have no control over what happens on sites outside my own. Use caution and do your research when applying for any work at home position. Some links on this list are affiliate links; others are not, but I believe each company belongs on this list.
