First off, I loved this article! Makes very valid points. I especially liked the tips on networking and making sensible goals! Never under estimate the power of networking! You never know what other people can bring to the table! But don't go into networking with just the goal to further your career! People generally get more out of networking by being helpful and friendly instead of just out to further their own goals. But making goals is VERY important! But they do need to be reasonable! But not too small either! Make small attainable goals at first, and when you pass those, work on bigger and better ones! It helps keep you determined and focused! Very important if you work from home and have kids to still watch after. I work from home with 3 small kids and my goals keep me from slacking off because I don't have a boss to tell me to get off my butt! LOL! Great read! Oh, and one other thing! DO YOUR RESEARCH! I researched the company I'm with for over a month before I joined! I found some bad stuff, some good stuff, but I eventually made up my own mind and haven't looked back since. I love my job!
