Don’t keep your kids at your house all summer – send them off to play with friends. If you’re lucky, their friends are close enough you can just send the kids off, but even if you have to drive them over, it’s a pretty good deal. Either you get some time at home to do whatever you need to get done on your own, or you get some time visiting with another parent. If the other parent is a friend of yours, this can be nice.<\/p>\n

Of course, you should reciprocate and have your kids’ friends over to your house too. Depending on how the kids play, this can be better for productivity than having your kids alone. Other times it’s more work, but that’s all part of having friends over.<\/p>\n
