Apparently moms are likely to be selfish and think only of their children, not of others. There&#8217;s an interesting post over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.babylune.com\/childless-judgemental-society-is-missing-the-boat-on-parenting\/\">BabyLune<\/a> about this tendency to assume mothers are in the wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I personally wouldn&#8217;t change a baby on a restaurant table if I could at all help it, which is what the mother in the article in question did. I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s appropriate. There is almost always an alternative. I&#8217;ve managed it in car seats when I&#8217;ve had to. It&#8217;s tough since a lot of places don&#8217;t have changing tables and some babies are scared of them. My son was.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, I don&#8217;t know what the restaurant had available for diaper changing. Maybe the restaurant did have appropriate facilities and the mother was at fault. Maybe not.
