Description

We are seeking experienced post-production transcribers.

Transcribers need to take on a minimum of 2.5 hours of video/audio per week.

The right candidate will possess the following skills:  Transcription experience, Knowledge of Transcription software, such as Express Scribe, Microsoft Word or compatible software program, Keen ear to distinguish between speakers, Ability to determine dialogue with background noise and interruptions, Type 50 wpm, Organized, Ability to handle tight deadlines, Self-motivator, Ability to follow the guidelines and procedures for each project.

When you have completed the application, and submitted your resume, a 6-minute video test will be forwarded to you. It is imperative that you complete the test to be considered for the position.

**A word of note:  As an IC (independent contractor) you are hired on a project to project basis.  We cannot guarantee a minimum of work.  We need to have a steady, successful team on hand not only for our busy seasons but for future anticipated projects.

We welcome beginner transcribers to apply, however, the work may be a difficult task to undertake.  This is challenging work.  Rate of pay is equivalent to $15.00 -  $33.00 per hour depending upon your Transcription Turnaround Time (TAT)
