We save money by going grocery shopping 2 times a month every two weeks. We get the grocery store ads in the mail every Wednesday. We look through the ads and circle what we need as well as the items that are a great deal at the time. We never buy everything at the same store. We go from store to store. Its a hassle, but saves us a lot of money this way too. We dont use coupons, because we never buy the name brands. We only buy generic cheaper than with a coupon. These are just a few of the ways we save money.

Do most of your grocery shopping at a discount chain, such as Aldi and Save a Lot. I can do all of my grocery shopping for 1-2 weeks for under $100 at these chains.

A couple of ways I try to save money is by clipping and using coupons when I shop.
I also grocery shop on Wednesdays when they have specials on certain items.
Also I never hesitate to check out the clearance racks when I am in a department store before going to the regular priced section.
Please share your tips.
