Tips from readers:
We save money by going grocery shopping 2 times a month…every two weeks. We get the grocery store ads in the mail every Wednesday. We look through the ads and circle what we need as well as the items that are a great deal at the time. We never buy everything at the same store. We go from store to store. It’s a hassle, but saves us a lot of money this way too. We don’t use coupons, because we never buy the name brands. We only buy generic…cheaper than with a coupon. These are just a few of the ways we save money.

Do most of your grocery shopping at a discount chain, such as Aldi and Save a Lot. I can do all of my grocery shopping for 1-2 weeks for under $100 at these chains.
