Amazon.com sometimes hires people for customer service jobs from home. These jobs may be regular or seasonal, part or full time, although they can expect near full time hours even for part time employees during the busier times of the year.
Jobs may be location specific even though you will work from home. They most often seem to hire work at home employees from Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Virginia.
If you're bilingual, check for positions where they need your skills. As of this writing, I see positions for Japanese and French/French Canadian speakers. I'm sure this changes with time, so check the website.
Amazon's Virtual Contact Center is open from 3AM – Midnight Pacific Time. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
You must fill out your I-9 in person, and your home address must be in one of the hiring states. They will ship the equipment you need to your physical address, not a P.O. box.
