Thursday Thirteen – 13 Reasons I'm Glad to be a Stay at Home Mom

It’s nearly Mother’s Day – already? So it’s time to think about what’s so great about it, in my case including why I love being a stay at home mom.

1. They’re my kids! Has to be the top reason!
2. The flexibility to help in my daughter’s preschool class.
3. Watching my kids grow.
4. Being able to take time for special projects whenever the whim strikes for my daughter (often!)
5. Time for cooking rather than eating out.
6. The ability to work at home
7. Life isn’t a mad dash to get everything done – most of the time. Of course, this may change in the future.
8. I don’t have to watch soap operas or eat bonbons all day.
9. Hugs, hugs, hugs.
10. Can’t get the “pay” anyplace else.
11. The ability to help family when they need it.
12. Snuggle time.
13. Seeing the world through a child’s eyes.

Okay, finally managed to finish this 4 hours after starting it. My job as a stay at home mom is easy, honest! 😆
