Gas prices have been going up at an astonishing rate recently. It's impacting families tight budgets in many ways. With these concerns in mind, I have decided to start a section on ways to save gas.
Basic Ways to Save Gas
Saving gas doesn't have to be all that difficult. It just requires a little preparation. Sometimes it's also just good maintenance.
Plan to Use Your Car Less
Thinking before using your car and making a few lifestyle changes makes a big difference.
Can You Telecommute One Day a Week?
Telecommuting even once a week can make a big difference in how much you spend on gas.
It all comes down to using our cars less. If you've been meaning to lose weight, walking to the store is one way to do it and save gas at the same time. Want more time with your family? Find fun things to do at home.
Using less gas isn't just important for our cars. Many products we use are petroleum based. Anything plastic. CDs. Many synthetic fibers. An oil shortage will impact our lives in many ways.
